As part of its induction programme, Octapharma chose EASE to help its new employees learn about working in a controlled environment. This collaboration illustrates the growing importance of practical training and mastery of good aseptic practices from the very beginning of a career.
An induction module focused on the cleanroom environment
During the day, participants were welcomed to EASE's training facilities to familiarise themselves with the requirements of the pharmaceutical sector.
The aim of this module is to ensure a clear and practical understanding of the fundamental principles of clean environment production, including:
• The structure and operation of a cleanroom
• Rules of movement, hygiene and behaviour
• Contamination risks and their prevention
• The quality culture specific to aseptic environments- Practical learning: aseptic dressingA key moment in this integration process is learning how to put on sterile clothing, which is essential before entering a controlled environment.
New arrivals were able to:
• Learn about the different stages of dressing
• Understand the role of each piece of equipment
• Acquire the right reflexes to limit the risk of contamination
• Gain confidence in a demanding but exciting environment
